Re-Tableware ASUMI is an eco-friendly collection of Mino Ware crafted from reused clay materials in Japan.

Clay, the raw material of pottery, is extracted from the earth, but once fired, pottery does not return to the earth even after 1,000 years. Until now, the only way to dispose of unused tableware was to bury it in landfill.
 

The idea of how to recycle them and reuse them again as raw materials for pottery led to the creation of Re-Table Ware series. This series of Japanese mino ware is made created using 20% of the recycled clay (crushed finely) mixed with conventional clay. 

Re-Table Ware ASUMI line of mino ware features soft and matte colors and texture, which brings the cozy feeling of home. The design is a fusion of Japanese and western. Blends in any style of food. 

This salad bowl (11.5cm) comes with a wider bottom. Perfect for 1 serving of salad, soup, rice, or a small serving dish. Available in 2 colors, cream or soft pink.
