Shanghai Style Sweet Sour spare ribs

Multi-generation Shanghainese here to say that this is not Shanghainese whatsoever… never have I had 上海糖醋排骨that was breaded and seasoned like something out of your local Panda Express. But worse than Panda Express, these ribs were of poor quality. Tons of gristle, lots of jagged bones. Major choking hazard for young children. Also the packaging was pretty flimsy.

The other dishes in this restaurant are good, but the sweet and sour pork ribs have a bit too much flour, the taste is just okay

The ribs are very fragrant, the meat is not too old, and there is basically no vinegar taste, but the pieces are too small
