It's not that tasty and has to be steamed or microwaved before eating.

These were so dry. I guess I was expecting something softer, like a sponge cake, but this just wasn't good. Maybe I'll try making them moist.

The skin is rough, and the food is nostalgic.

Wish the directions had told me to steam them for a few minutes. Ate one dry and it was like chalk. Mildly sweet and tasty once you cook them right though.

Remember to heat it with water (discharge pot) and steam for two or three minutes, otherwise it will be dry and hard like a biscuit. It is the taste that I remember when I was a child, thank you Weee!

I was curious about this product so I bought it. This is very sweet but pairs well with black tea and coffee. I take nibbles since it is so sweet. It has kind of a hard-shell spongy texture, dipping it directly into liquid helps it soften up. The package says there's plum powder in it, I was expecting a slight plum flavor but, there is only sweetness
