It’s kind of fun to use this. It has clear instructions so no worries for first time users. I wanted to add my own vegetable so looks too packed 😳it heated up and cooked but not quite ready in 15 minutes. So don’t do what I did 😆I prefer flavor to go through more so I end up cooking more on stove top and ate it next day when the flavor soaked through. Then it was good. Tomato soup base was tasty but if you’re not familiar with lotus roots and fungus then you might not like it.

Convenient. Good broth flavor. Surprisingly filling. However, I'm not the biggest fan of the items included (really didn't care for the lotus roots). None of the items are things I would normally add to my hot pot if I had a choice.

this is actually really good? first time using one so I didn't realize the heat was only hot enough to cook the first 15min. next time I'll stick the meat in then too. it's more like "instant" hotpot than actual hotpot, and it stays warm but not hot for very long. love the pickled veggies which surprised me bc I don't usually like pickled/vinegar-y stuff but it adds to the flavor. never had to original but if it's on sale then I'll probably get it again :3
