I was a General Manager of a steakhouse in NYC for 5 yrs. Major letdown. The meat was incredibly gristly, making it difficult—and frankly unpleasant—to chew. I expected a tender, flavorful cut, but what I received was tough, sinewy, and full of inedible bits. It felt like little care was taken in trimming or selecting a quality piece. This really took away from the overall experience of the dish.

The product I received was different from the picture, it was very dull and looked old. Unfortunately, it seems I can't return it, so I will never buy it again.

There was a ton of extra fat that should have been trimmed before slicing. They didn’t slice the beef in the right direction, either, for about half the slices. Also found very hard gristle in certain parts of the beef. And as others have mentioned, it was a bit brown in color.

Meat quality not good. When defrosted and opening the package the meat already smells sour. There’s a slimy film indicating that the meat has already gone bad.

Taste good, very tender 😋
