CA Bakehouse 

CA Bakehouse is a family tradition of baking for three generations that started in Vietnam and China by the Lam Family. The knowledge of baking was carried over to America in 1990 through the establishment their first store, Le Monde. Their popularity quickly rose as they became the first business in America to sell the "Green Waffle". Kevin Lam, the youngest son, was very skeptical of the success of the waffle. Years later it became a huge staple at their next store, Century Bakery located in Little Saigon located in East Side San Jose. Hundreds of customers would lineup during festivals just for the Green Waffles. In 2018, Kevin Lam, his mother, and cousin Kevin Quach opened CA Bakehouse, the predecessor of Century Bakery, taking a modern take and revisiting and reviving old recipes
