My first time trying these or anything with Hawthorn. And these are delicious! Sweet but not overwhelming, a little tart but not make your face disfigure itself tart. Slightly Chewy reminds me of Marzipan. I also like the convenient two ball serving package, its all you need.

The actual color of the balls is a light brown, not pink like the product photo at all. So to start off with, it looked unappetizing. My daughter said “this tastes sweaty!” But having had hawthorn berry when I was a kid, the flavor is close to what I remember. I appreciate that there are no artificial colors and these sweets have natural ingredients (just sugar and hawthorn berry). However the brown color was unexpected and the manufacturer could easily have used a natural fruit juice (like beet juice) to create a pinker color. Alas, my kids refuse to eat this, so this mommy will have to consume the bag.

My child likes eating it. Only give him one pack a day since its kinda sweet.
