Dragon's Beard Candy, originally known as "Silver Thread Candy," is made from sugar syrup and traditionally filled with ingredients such as sugar, peanuts, sesame, and shredded coconut. It was originally a traditional Chinese snack enjoyed by the common people.

Five hundred years ago, during the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Zhengde encountered a remarkably fragrant sweet while mingling with the common folk. He found it to be exceptionally special and developed a fondness for it. Consequently, he ordered it to be brought back to the palace and named it "Dragon's Beard Candy," ranking it among the exquisite delicacies of the imperial court! This traditional delicacy has been passed down through generations, still existing in the folk culture. However, due to its "antiquity," Dragon's Beard Candy gradually fell out of favor, losing its former nobility and splendor.
