Product Introduction:
Làng Chài Xưa Fish Sauce, made from the rare and premium red-bellied golden anchovy (also known as red anchovy) and pure salt, is aged in traditional wooden barrels for years. This type of fish sauce has a history of over 300 years in Làng Chài Xưa, Phan Thiết. It was first bottled in ceramic jars by the trade pioneer Trần Gia Hòa and transported by large wooden boats, making it one of the best-selling fish sauces in Vietnam in the past.
Làng Chài Xưa’s red-bellied golden anchovy fish sauce is one of the finest and most exquisite varieties from the Làng Chài Xưa Fish Sauce Museum. It is crafted from the rare red-bellied golden anchovy (Apogen Anchovy), a species that thrives in the nutrient-rich upwelling waters of Phan Thiết.
This fish sauce has an attractive tea-red color, a rich and fragrant aroma, a high protein content, and an intense umami flavor derived from fish protein.
