This combination is suitable for long-term cough due to lung dryness and yin deficiency. Paired with Anemarrhena (Zhi Mu), it is effective for cough caused by dryness and heat.

2. Combining Chuanbei with Scutellaria (Huang Qin) and loquat leaves can clear heat, resolve phlegm, and relieve cough, which is suitable for cough caused by phlegm heat.
