Dense, crunchy, then chewy, these special okaki are made from salty tamari soy sauce, umami-rich konbu and shichimi, Japan’s iconic seven spice blend which includes spicy chili peppers for heat, citrus for zest, and seaweed for salty umami.
As a 5th generation rice farm, Seijibe is constantly pursuing their passion for agriculture. They grow naturally cultivated rice, without the use of pesticides or fertilizers, in Kouzakimachi, the village of fermentation located along the Tone River in northeastern Chiba Prefecture.
