As a Cantonese, I have never eaten such unpalatable Gu Lao Pork since I was a child. The Gu Lao Pork should taste sweet and sour, but this one is very salty and the meat is very dry. The color, smell and taste of this dish are not sticky.

The meat is fried very well, the flour is not too thick, and the portion is large. I heated the meat in the air fryer and it tastes really good. Except for the sauce being a bit sweet, the fried meat is delicious when eaten directly.

The pork tasted like it should. The sauce was disgusting. Tasted like the worst duck sauce ever made. There were no peppers as pictured. Would not recommend unless you plan to make your own sauce.

The finished product does not have the yellowish color of the advertising photos. The taste is very good, especially the fried meat. A little less pineapple
