This Grape Wakocha, or Japanese black tea, is a refined blend from Shizuoka, masterfully cultivated with succulent grapes grown in Yamanashi. This tea offers a delicate, low-astringency profile with rich, fruity notes of ripe grape, delivering a luscious sweetness and a fragrant, full-bodied aroma. Presented in convenient stringed tea bags, it’s elegantly packaged for gifting or personal indulgence.
Recommended Brewing Method:
1. Warm your teacup or yunomi by pouring in a small amount of hot water, then discard the water.
2. Place one stringed green tea bag into the warmed cup and pour 150–180 ml of water cooled to 80°C–90°C over it.
3. Steep for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then gently remove the tea bag without squeezing too hard to avoid bitterness.
