This is my favorite Japanese hot pot base so far. It’s very flavorful and not really spicy. My only critique would be that I don’t think it’s “kimchi” flavored per se. It tastes more like miso with gochujung. It doesn’t have the sour taste one would expect from kimchi. It’s a good hot pot base, I just don’t think “kimchi” is the right descriptor.

Best for when it starts getting cold and wanting the perfect hot pot! Adding noodles, rice cakes, mushrooms, etc! Warms you up and tastes AMAZING!
