And, unlike the aforementioned discount chain giants, the No Brand store is the smaller and streamlined version of its big sister, E-mart, with both stores belonging to the Shinsegae Group. 

The store’s marketing slogan is “It’s not about the brand, it’s about the consumer!” ("브랜드가 아니다, 소비자다!"), emphasizing their consumer-centric approach as demonstrated in their reasonably-priced private label products that are manufactured by reputable domestic and international manufacturers.
