This is the best type of instant ramen: thick and chewy.
I don’t cook it on the stove. I use the microwave oven.
I put the noodle in a large bowl, add enough water to cover the noodle, and microwave for 5 minutes.
Remove and drain, then add my own healthier olive oil and coat well. Add enough jiajiang sauce powder to taste, about 4/5 of the packet, and coat well. I discard the other two packets.
Add an egg (also cooked in the microwave oven) and it makes a quick and delicious meal.
