This refreshing and relaxing organic green tea blend includes a rare organic green tea from Kakegawa, Shizuoka. Shizuoka is one of Japan's main tea producing regions and is even nicknamed the "Capital of Tea".
This organic green tea is grown and harvested using the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), on abandoned land that has been re-cultivated without the use of chemical fertilizers. Achieving the organic Japan Agricultural Standards (JAS) certification is also a lengthy and rigorous process that is difficult to achieve.
The rich, vegetal green tea is then perfectly balanced with a harmony of organic herbs and flavors including relaxing peppermint, refreshing citrus orange, echinacea and rosemary, resulting in a delicious and soothing green tea rich in catechins and polyphenols.
SENN JAPAN is a specialty tea brand with a commitment to offering high-quality products crafted in Japan. The name SENN is derived from the Japanese tea master Sen-no-Rikyu (千利休) and from the Japanese word for “brew” (Sen = 煎) – paying homage to Japan's traditional tea culture.
How to brew: Hot: Place one tea bag in 200ml of hot water and steep for 3mins. Cold: Place one tea bag in 60ml of hot water. Steep for 2mins and add ice to chill.
