It has some rough surface area but I’d say it’s reasonably priced.

This rolling pin is pretty nice quality for the price - might need some sandpaper to make it a bit smoother since I’m afraid of splinters.

It’s very easy to use. I didn’t have a rolling pin before and made the dumpling wrappers. I couldn’t roll them out. Sure enough, if you want to do a good job, you must first sharpen your tools.

Pairs are easy to use, especially pancakes!
