Product Description

Tieguanyin Oolong Tea is one of China's historically renowned teas, classified as a semi-fermented tea. This exceptional tea is crafted using wild, old tea trees from Xianghua Township, the core origin area of Anxi County, the birthplace of Tieguanyin. Harvested in the lush, misty mountains and sandy red soil, the tea is made from 50-year-old tea trees during spring. The freshly plucked medium-open leaves are sun-dried to remove excess moisture, then processed through traditional techniques including withering, hand-tossing, rolling, and roasting. The result is a tea with a rich aroma, full-bodied and layered flavor, and the signature "Guanyin Rhyme 观音韵" unique to Tieguanyin.

This old bush Tieguanyin is a true standout, showing off the best of its tea variety, the unique character of its growing region, the special touch of its environment, and the skillful craftsmanship behind it. As a top-tier Tieguanyin, it’s made using traditional techniques from the 1980s and grown with semi-natural farming methods right in the heart of its original production area. This tea harmonizes the essence of time, the advantages of the land, and the artistry of humanity. This Tieguanyin has that classic "dragonfly head, frog leg" look. The tea stems are uneven in length, with a mix of reddish-brown colors, and the tightly rolled leaves feel solid and come in three distinct shades. When you drop the tea into a jar, the sound is like metal striking jade—clear and crisp, almost like the soft chime of ornaments. Pouring hot water from a height releases a burst of floral fragrance, like stepping into a misty mountain scene.

The brewed tea has a golden hue, as bright and stunning as a sunset over the ocean. The tea is smooth and sweet, with the aroma blending beautifully into the liquid. You can almost taste the life of the tea trees in every sip. As the tea slides down your throat, close your eyes, and you’ll feel like you’re wandering through lush forests or flowing rivers, a moment of pure serenity.
