This handmade coffee cup and plate set is crafted with care. The entire coffee cup and plate are not only made through hand-kiln production, but the embossed lines are created using plum tree bark during the firing process, giving the set a three-dimensional feel and a unique texture.

Mino Ware is primarily produced in three regions of Gifu Prefecture, Japan (Toki, Tajimi, and Mizunami). Toki City is known for its rich and high-quality clay and has been producing Mino pottery for over 1,300 years. Currently, about 60% of Japan's ceramic tableware is manufactured in this area. With more young people entering the Mino Ware industry, traditional perceptions of Mino Ware have changed, making it an indispensable element of everyday dining.

As these items are handcrafted, each piece may vary slightly in shape, size, and color. Additionally, small black spots, pinholes, or crack-like appearances are normal features of pottery and are not defects. Using a microwave or dishwasher may cause more black spots or air pockets to appear. Because pottery absorbs water, please clean it promptly after use to prevent staining. After washing, allow to dry and store in a dry place.
