All Natural Ground Pork, Anitbiotic Free, Frozen

Freshness Guarantee

Description

Danish Crown ground pork is made from all natural lean pork meat sourced from Danish pigs that has never been treated with antibiotics. Our ground pork contains no preservatives or additives.

The pork comes from animals that were raised without the use of antibiotics, growth hormones, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

When it comes to antibiotic-free pork, it signifies that the animals used for pork production were not treated with antibiotics during their lifespan. This is significant because the overuse of antibiotics in animal agriculture can contribute to the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, which poses a risk to human health.

Ground pork is an excellent choice for making spring rolls or meatballs due to its versatility and flavor. Here are some basic instructions for using ground pork in these dishes:

Spring Rolls:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork with various ingredients like finely chopped vegetables (carrots, cabbage, bell peppers, etc.), minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and other desired seasonings.

  2. Mix everything together until well combined.

  3. Take a spring roll wrapper and place a spoonful of the pork mixture in the center.

  4. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll it up tightly, sealing the edges with a bit of water.

  5. Repeat the process until all the pork mixture is used.

  6. Heat oil in a pan or deep fryer, and fry the spring rolls until golden brown and crispy.

  7. Serve the spring rolls with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as sweet chili sauce or soy sauce.

Meatballs:

  1. In a bowl, combine ground pork with ingredients like breadcrumbs, beaten egg, minced onion, garlic, herbs (such as parsley or basil), salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings.

  2. Mix all the ingredients together until evenly combined.

  3. Take a portion of the mixture and roll it into a ball using your hands.

  4. Repeat the process until all the mixture is used.

  5. Heat some oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  6. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook until they are browned on all sides and cooked through, which usually takes about 10-12 minutes.

  7. You can also bake the meatballs in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 20-25 minutes until they are cooked through and browned.

  8. Serve the meatballs with your favorite sauce, such as marinara sauce or sweet and sour sauce.
