2 minutes in the microwave was definitely too long (became a cracker and the sugar in the middle burned). I found that 30 seconds in the microwave (for 1000W I think) was just enough if you’re okay with it being soft.

Sweet bun is good

It was okay when I microwaved, but it was super good after deepfrying and sprinkling some kinako and sugar. 揚げパン

You get a big bag of buns, at least 8 all wrapped individually. They tasted all right, kind of like red bean paste or some kind of jam. To be honest I would not repurchase - stick to my Chinese red bean buns.

I was afraid these would be dry and plain but it’s quite good! Very convenient to pop in the toaster for a quick breakfast or snack
