Quite surprised that the 2 lbs paper box (the box itself is not taped shut or protected in any way neither) of dried persimmons didn’t even have a thin film covering the fruits inside the box. I wouldn’t have minded for foods that have yet to be washed or cooked, but for the ready to eat persimmons - this really gave me pause. Though the persimmons looked fine, the idea that anyone could have easily lifted the paper lid to touch those persimmons really is not a very comforting thought. Well, throw them in the freezer, then see if I have the courage to eat it sometime later.

Been waiting to get these again and finally saw them back in stock and purchased right away. They were delicious like before and my family absolutely loved it. Will definitely buy them again.
