Garlic Butter Grilled Jumbo Tiger Shrimp
Servings: 2–4
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Ingredients:
1 lb Jumbo Australian Wild Tiger Shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
Zest of ½ lemon
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Optional: chili flakes for heat
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
Prep the Shrimp:
Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry. If not already peeled and deveined, do so while keeping the tail on for presentation.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (don’t brown). Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes. Set aside.
Marinate:
Toss the shrimp in half of the garlic butter sauce. Let sit for 10–15 minutes while you preheat the grill or grill pan.
Grill the Shrimp:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill shrimp 2–3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and opaque with a slight char.
Serve:
Drizzle remaining garlic butter sauce over grilled shrimp. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
