Matcha Puffs (3) from Fresh Bakery. This is a new bakery item. Because I love matcha and sweets I had to try them and I am glad I did. Each puff is a good generous size. The bread is soft, moist and fresh. There is a lot of matcha/green tea powder on top. The filling is not too sweet, just right. I only wish they would a little more filling inside. It is located in the middle of the puff. Considering the size of the puff, a little more filling would make it perfect.

The bun for this review is the one at the bottom of the picture. The bun was quite tough and without the classic crumbles on top. It tasted like it was baked with the Western techniques and ingredients.

It was just ok, it didn’t have enough much of the matcha flavor.
