The dumpling skin of Si Nian is relatively thin and soft. I used to buy another brand of Shandong dumplings, but later I found that Si Nian's dumplings tasted better. I eat pork and leek and pork and cabbage alternately. I always have them at home. When I don't have time to cook, I just cook two packs for a meal.

The name of the pie in the sky is very interesting. It takes only 20 minutes to bake and both sides are golden brown without turning over. The crust is crispy, crunchy and fragrant. However, there is too little pork paste in the filling, only a very thin layer. It is not as affordable as the chive box.
I personally feel it is very average and would not consider repurchasing it. It may be because all the reviews say it is delicious. The higher the expectations, the greater the disappointment.
First time buying, delicious, will repurchase.
Previously I could only buy black pepper beef pies, but this time I can finally try the scallion pork flavor.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the dumplings on medium heat for five minutes. Then pour in cornstarch (or flour) and water (low concentration) and cover the pan and steam for about five minutes. Remove the lid and slowly turn over to continue frying the other side or remove from the pan.
It's so delicious that you can't stop eating it. I always order two bags.

Love this brand of Gyoza because for NO-added-MSG! I pan fry these in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and add a tablespoon of water and put lid on to awaken the Gyoza that are fully-steam-cooked and individually frozen. No grease on the gyoza skin, so I get to choose the oil to pan fry them with, which is a huge plus. iI stock these in my freezer for a quick and delicious guilt-free meal or a snack.
