Regent Ube Mochi 10pcs 240 g

1/5 Stars. Dried and not mochi (chewy) texture. The powdery outside in the packaging is all wet (look at photo). Flavor is alright.

Maybe they were stale somehow even though they weren’t expired, but they’re very dry and not sweet at all. I didn’t check the ingredients before buying though 🙃

The thing I hate about these is it’s always touch and go when it comes to the texture. The package recommends refrigerating them, but honestly I think they would taste better warm. I’m going to pull them from the fridge and try them warm because I just thought they were too stiff and had the wrong mouth feel from the fridge. The flavor is amazing. It’s just the texture that is slightly off. That I’m hoping a different preparation will fix.
