Sadly not our cup of tea. The taste was rubbery, plastic-like, and definitely permeated a strong grassy taste. It does take a bit of dressing up with the proper seasonings to mask it better. We will certainly pass on this for all future purchases and stick to making our own fish paste from our favorite whole fish choices. But at least we tried it.

The first time I bought it and it was very good. Second time it is so disappointed and I feel like the fish is not fresh and have some smells like grass

this fish tastes like a bottom feeder and the paste is surprisingly chewy and tough. i took a chance on this for a watercress soup but would not buy again.
