The dried shiitake mushrooms do not take long to rehydrate in hot water. Maybe 5 - 10 minutes? They have a strong flavor. I sliced them up and added them to a soup. I like that the stems have been removed.

These crunchy rice rolls are nice. Treat as a snack in the evening while I watch TV. They are a little sticky, but I keep a paper towel handy. They are delicious.
