I bought Taiwanese purple rice and used it to make red bean and purple rice soup. Soak it in water the night before, and it will cook very quickly the next morning, saving a lot of time and giving it a smooth and creamy texture! And Weee! is really convenient; almost every order placed today is delivered the next day, perfect for when you suddenly want to cook something! I'll definitely buy it again if I want to make purple rice balls some other day!

I bought it to dissolve donkey-hide gelatin. The taste was very different from what I expected: a slight bitterness, a lack of rice flavor, and a lack of strong alcoholic flavor. The rice wine I've had in China previously had a stronger rice and alcoholic flavor.
