L on ve the texture! I soaked for at least 4 hours and cook for 30 minutes in rice cooker with 1:2 rice-water ratio. The texture was perfect. Will test 1:1.5 ratio next time because the bottom was a bit watery (but the rice was fully cooked and in normal texture).

They say to mix it with white rice in a 7:3 ratio, but I put in half.
I cook it with about 1.8 cups of white rice and 0.2 cups of mixed grains, using a little extra water. It tends to turn purple, but it's chewy and delicious. It feels healthy.

I eat this mixed grain rice more often than white rice, and my husband also likes it and eats it without any problems.
