These Baby Scads arrived frozen. They are fresh. You will have to clean August it yourself, but the work paid off. I wash led with vinegar and salt, season with my choice of spices and fresh lemon juice. I left it to marinate overnight in refrigerator, breaded and fried. Served with steamed quinoa, basmati rice, adzuki beans and dried mushrooms, pickles musher and peppers and homemade gravy. There is some bones in this fish, must be careful. I’m the end, it was worth it. I love the flavour of this fish; the texture is like mackerel, firm and “sweet”. I most definitely will repurchase this fish.
