I've been using Baiyunshan Banlangen (Isatis root) for a long time, and it's good.
I've got the flu lately, so I bought a pack of Banlangen (a traditional Chinese medicine) to keep on hand. This brand from Baiyun District is pretty good.
Should have read the reviews before ordering! This shelf life should be clearance price!
Maybe not many people buy this Isatis root. It was produced in 2023 and will expire in only 6 months in October.

I take a packet of Ban Lan Gen whenever I feel that tickle in my throat, the “getting sick” feeling, and usually by the next morning it clears up. This brand is a little less sweet than other brands but still tastes good. I like to add a little milk to mine and it tastes like a milk tea. Sometimes I’ll mix in like 1/3-1/2 a packet with milk for my kids when they have colds, and they don’t mind the taste!
It's okay to buy it as a regular medicine.
