I bought Taiwanese purple rice and used it to make red bean and purple rice soup. Soak it in water the night before, and it will cook very quickly the next morning, saving a lot of time and giving it a smooth and creamy texture! And Weee! is really convenient; almost every order placed today is delivered the next day, perfect for when you suddenly want to cook something! My version of puto maya- 2 cups of glutinous rice + 1 cup black glutinous rice steamed in rice cooker. Paired perfectly with ripe yellow mango and sikwate (hot cocoa drink)for breakfast or anytime of the day for me.
