Sorry I didn’t take photos before cooking it. Didn’t think I was going to write a review. I will the next time. I should’ve taken a video if anything. This is my 2nd time buying it. I was disappointed the first time around and now disappointed again.. Had the same problems I gave it a 2nd chance ONLY because it’s grass fed beef. The sliced meat when raw felt almost fake. Like it’s made from plastic or rubber. Didn’t smell like blood when it’s thawed and the fat was difficult to pull apart and to cut off. It’s thin it shouldn’t require that much work to remove it. The fat looked weird. Some part of the meat and fat was extremely fibrous. I chewed and chewed seemed like a long time and it didn’t break down. I end up spitting it out. I’m really questioning what the heck did I eat.. I’m not sure if I trust to buy this again. So sad.

I made lemongrass beef. The meat was quite old... It must be tenderized, otherwise it would take a long time to have a good tooth and digestion.
Cooked them in broth. Too much fat and the meat is too rough and leathery. It was worth giving it a try though.

I like to eat meat with fat, and this one is just the right amount of fat and lean. I don't like lean meat because it's very dry. For girls, eating more fat is good for the skin and it supplements collagen. The collagen supplements sold on the market have too high estrogen content, and eating them will cause tumors.
I thought this was going to be thinner, it's too thick for sukiyaki. it has good flavor but it's hard to chew in soup. it'll probably be better grilled.

I love how thinly sliced it is and the quality of the meat. However the meat to fat ratio was 1 part meat, 2 part fat for about half of the meat while there were several parts of just thi ly sliced fat.. I wish it was more meat than fat.

There's no shortage of it here at home!
I used ground beef to make dumplings, added mushrooms, carrots, onions, and minced ginger, and used eggs, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, a little white sugar, pepper oil, and sesame oil as seasonings. I used North American dumpling wrappers bought from Weee. After making the dumplings, I froze them and divided them into the portions I wanted to eat each time. It was very convenient.
