I bought Tamaki Gold because it promised high quality and fresh taste. The grains are very short, almost broken rice-like. The flavor is neutral, it tastes like nothing, almost surprisingly bland. It doesn't taste fresher or more flavorful despite the nitrogen flush and packaging. I don't think it's anywhere near as good as The Rice Factory but the price is good for a rice that isn't the star of your meal.
