It arrived carefully packaged with no broken noodles. This brand uses a traditional Japanese hand-stretching method that has been practiced for about 600 years. The noodles are ultra-thin yet pleasantly chewy, with an incredibly smooth texture that makes them easy to slurp. Definitely the best somen I’ve tried and well worth the price!
Cook for 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes; the noodles will be thin but not mushy or lacking chewiness. Very delicious! Perfect for plain noodles; you can also make pomelo noodles in the summer.
