It is essential when cooking eggs.
It's really useful for cooking, but my local mart doesn't have it, so I'm glad I bought it here.
In every Korean's kitchen ;) and if your mom swears she doesn't use any MSG, she means she only uses this "salt." : ) This is salt blended with MSG (usually 90:10 ratio) to give it that little something oomph in a dish without the overpowering MSG only regretful taste. Compared to regular salt, it's not as salty. The date on front of the bag is manufacturing date, not expiration, just in case for non-Korean shoppers. Hide it in your back of the pantry if you're so anti-MSG but once you use it, you'll always restock it.
It has a generous capacity and is useful for cooking.
I cook a lot and use seasoned salt. I love it!
