Friendly reminder: the first thing to do when you get this kind of pot is to simmer some porridge in it. This will help seal any potential cracks and prevent it from splitting open later.

Just opened up the donabe and it’s adorable! I absolutely love it already! The donabe feels like good quality in my hands. The texture is nice and smooth and not too heavy. However, I am disappointed that the paint seems low quality. As you can tell from my photo, the ears on the bunnies aren’t painted on fully. It’s as if someone stamped the bunnies on, but didn’t use enough ink and the top of the ears are missing a chunk of paint T.T
I made braised rice but it had a weird chemical smell after it was cooked...I don't know if it's ok
I originally thought that the casserole I bought would be very small, but it turned out to be quite big. The quality looks good and the lid fits the pot well!
The casserole is lovely. Not very heavy. A lot bigger than I expected.
I throw away after 2 times cooked the paint outside is horrible not good quality at all, it's burned and smell chemicals. I don't think it's good for soup or any hot or cold food , please don't waste your money on it . I forgot take the picture how horrible the pot were, I was angry and throwing away right away after saw the crazy happening.
