re ordered several times. always fresh frozen, vacuum packaged well. I saute this clams in oil, ginger,garlic ,and onion. I use rice wash for some broth. No salt nor fish sauce needed because the juice that go with the clams is tasty enough. I add chile and spinach for some kick and color! We always have this clam soup with fried or broiled fish.
I keep buying it; it's very convenient to use.
I'll buy it again. It's convenient to cook, saves time, doesn't require rinsing to remove sand, and tastes good too.

I personally think it's not very fresh, I wouldn't buy it again.
I made seaweed soup with clams. Since the clams were already purged, it was convenient to just rinse them a few times and put them directly into the soup. Although I did feel a bit of dirt when chewing, it was convenient and delicious, so I think I will order it again.
The shells were all open after thawing; hopefully they'll taste good when cooked.

There's sand in it, you just need to cut it and wash it.
