I sometimes eat the classic breakfast porridge with century egg and pork, topped with youtiao at Chinese restaurants. I've tried making Chinese porridge at home a few times, but it's always a failure. Looking at Wee!!, I see other Chinese porridge-like products, but they contain a variety of ingredients and are expensive. So I tried this product, and it was pretty good. It contains pure white freeze-dried porridge, powdered seasonings, and a seasoning oil containing oil and chili. It didn't taste fishy, but it was delicious. The price is reasonable, so I'll definitely buy it again. After adding 350cc of hot water, I waited three minutes, but there were some chunky pieces at the bottom that looked like balls. Next time, I'll stir it once or twice after adding the hot water. They also have several varieties of frozen youtiao, so I'll try those too.
