The meat was well-packaged, there was plenty of it, and even after thawing it remained very fresh with no unpleasant smell. It was low in fat and incredibly delicious. 10/10.
For braised pork with preserved mustard greens, it's best to singe the pork skin over a flame first to reduce the gamey smell. Before singing the skin, I cooked braised pork, and even after blanching, the gamey smell was still very strong.

Some people seem to have managed to buy pork belly with a lot of fat, but I was quite lucky, so it really depends on luck. Pork inevitably has a gamey smell, so you need to use rice wine and ginger to remove it properly.

I tried making the trendy Buta no Kakuni, and it was so delicious with absolutely no gamey smell! Since I cooked it thoroughly for over an hour, it just melts in your mouth. The portion size was decent, so two adults added an extra egg and ate it for two meals.
