This was my first time buying it. Compared to Taiwanese eels, this one is softer. I was initially hesitant because some reviews mentioned a muddy taste, but my stir-fried eel pasta was delicious and didn't have that muddy taste at all.
It tastes unexpectedly good, cooks quickly until tender, and is easy to clean.
The quality looks very good; I hope the meat is plump and juicy.
The meat is still as good as fresh.
