It tastes like tofu + sugar water, not as delicate as tofu curd. And the ratio of sugar to water is not enough for a whole bucket of bean curd! Anyway, it tasted terrible, so I drank the rest.

I recently bought a lot of sugar pots. I just want to make my own sugar syrup.
So good! I got the unsweetened kind and made my own syrup with brown sugar and ginger slices. Add brown sugar and ginger slices, allow to start bubbling over low flame, until all the sugar is melted and the syrup is a dark brown then add hot water. Watch for the sugar to rise rapidly. But it is so good and easy

The look of it looks silky but it’s really it’s not. It’s dense and the texture heavy and almost rubbery. The taste is slightly sour and has this after taste like oil. This is the 4th or 5th time purchase. The first two time was great! I raved about it to everyone but It was downhill from there. I won’t be purchasing this again.
