I was looking for Korean-style fried tofu and found this one, but it's not square. It's plump and not very filling.
Fried tofu is great in hot pot or braised.
Such great texture—these are a staple in my fridge. I add them to oden, where they soak up the flavor while still keeping their texture. I also love cooking them with napa cabbage on a cold night.
