You can never go wrong with mama sita seasoning! this is one of my favs - tocino!
Followed the instructions and marinated for 8hrs in the fridge. Added 1 tsp of brown sugar upon frying for every 250g. It was soo good, taste and look is similar to store brought tocinos. This will now be a staple! Without the added sugar, taste and color is lacking.

Perfect for caldereta sauce! Just add tomato sauce and peanut butter or cheese! You will surely eat a lot of rice!

I used an air fryer, and the texture was pretty good after frying. The meat quality was average, a bit sweet, and tasted like char siu, but not as good as what I make myself. Next time, I'll buy pork shoulder, marinate it with Lee Kum Kee char siu sauce, and grill it myself. But the advantage of this method is that it's convenient and quick.

Great soup base for easy Tinola at home. Absolutely love the taste, I do add a bit of chicken bullion and chicken stock.
I use this every time I cook tinola or arroz caldo. I don’t saute anymore and it saves me time and energy.
