The egg yolks are quite large; I can cut one into two pieces and wrap them inside the rice dumplings, making them especially fragrant.
I used it to make the pork floss and salted egg yolk filling for qingtuan (a type of glutinous rice dumpling), and it was especially delicious! Plus, it was very easy to prepare.
It's great for making egg yolk pastries; it's not fishy at all.
