I've made this several times. Because it's horse mackerel, it does have a slight odor, so seasonings are essential. The backbone also needs to be removed. It would go well as sashimi or pickled in nanbanzuke. The odor became more pronounced when I marinated it in vinegar.

I just ate it yesterday, it was delicious, I forgot to take a photo, the air fryer took about 10-12 minutes to bake the skin slightly charred and the meat tender
This was amazing, so easy to heat it too, put it in oven at 425 F and cook it for 15 mins , WOW is a must buy for me everytime now !!

It's a little salty, but it tastes great and goes well with rice. It's convenient to eat it by heating it in an air fryer or oven.
To be honest, these two small pieces are not cheap, but I bought them before and they tasted good, so I still bought them after the discount was 15%.
