This is my go-to oden, and I've repurchased it many times. I like this smaller one because it contains hanpen (fish cake). Hanpen can be mixed with ground meat to make fish balls, and other processed fish products can be grilled and used as a side dish, so there are many ways to use them. I especially like the corn-flavored processed fish product; it's delicious.
The frozen packaging was done very well; the food didn't get soggy when it arrived.
It's oden, but I use the fish cakes in my bento box by grilling them, and I mix the hanpen (fish cake) with minced meat to make hamburgers. It tastes great, and I've bought it many times. I bought it because it was on sale.

This fish cake is an excellent snack. Seasoned with soy sauce, tobasco and lemon juice it makes a terrific appetizer. Just slice or cut up in bite size pieces and marinate. Enjoy

Very good, the carrots and onions were included in the fish cake. It was savory, yet simple and added soy sauce on top.
In my opinion, Oban Kimpira (burdock) fish cake is one of the best tasting fish cakes from Weee! For those who prefer vegetables, the Oban Veggie fish cake is also delicious!
It's also great for use in oden soup and is good value for money.
I bought it to simmer with daikon radish along with other types of vegetables. It's also convenient because it can be grilled and used as a side dish.
