I tried making mala leaf rice cakes / I thought the rice cakes would be small, but they got really big as they cooked! Just put in the rice cake seasoning fish cakes, add cabbage, fish cake, flat noodles, and half of Haidilao mala sauce, and you've got yourself a perfect mala leaf rice cake!
I bought this after reading reviews, but the rice cakes, sauce, and fish cakes—which are rare—are truly delicious. I followed the recipe exactly, and the anchovy broth adds a unique flavor. I've been wandering around trying tteokbokki kits, but this one's finally here!

It's delicious because it's rice cake! I usually buy tteokbokki from Mimine and Dakchigo at Korean markets, but I think I'll buy Kingjeong tteokbokki often from now on. It's more cost-effective than Dakchigo, and I think the tteok stays soft for a longer time than Mimi's.
